Our Approach To Airport Retail

Working at airports across the UK, Edmont has particular expertise in fitting out multiple retail units and airline lounges. We have carried out fit-out works for World Duty Free group (WDF) for over 25 years and in that time have delivered over 450 projects ranging from joinery only manufacture to the full fit-out of Europe’s largest airport duty free shop at Heathrow Terminal 5.

Edmont also fits-out WDF brands including World of Whiskies, Glorious Britain and Perfume Gallery. Other direct clients range from Mulberry and Alexander McQueen to Smythsons, Bottega & Venetta, Victoria’s Secrets and Boots, WH Smith and Dixons Travel. Passenger lounges have been completed for numerous airlines, from Alitalia to Virgin.

Fit-outs and installations include UK city and regional airports as well as the larger Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports.

Full project management

Edmont is frequently called upon to deliver full project management of all services installations, design development and cost engineering of joinery and signage items, site construction, ceilings, walls partitions flooring to retail and back office areas. Working with leading client appointed architects and designers, our approach is to develop strong working relationships and maintain our reputation for delivering quality, on time and on budget within the airport retail sector.
