Success for Edmont at the LABC West of England Awards 2017!

Edmont are proud to be recognised as finalists in the LABC West of England Building Excellence Awards 2017

After winning the ‘Best Commercial’ category in the Swindon Borough Council ‘Building Control Local Awards 2017’ back in  February this year, we were delighted to have been put forward by the judges to be entered into the wider LABC West of England awards.

The project for which we were nominated was none other than our own factory extension, at our Head Office in Swindon. The project comprised the demolition and clearing of the site, followed by full construction of our own state-of-the-art joinery workshop building. This included ground works, construction, fit-out, M&E, and landscaping, as well as build project management including statutory consents and utilities upgrades.

While we didn’t win the top prize this time around, being recognised as a finalist at regional level is still a great achievement for Edmont – particularly as the judges choose who they put forward based on their own dealings with the project, rather than us nominating ourselves.
